Hacksphere 2026 is the flagship national hackathon of Computer Science Atmosphere (COMPSPHERE) 2026, organized annually by the Faculty of Computer Science Student Association (BEM FIK) at President University. Only the Top 30 teams proceed to Phase 2: "The Execution," a grueling 24-hour coding marathon held on-site at the Charles Himawan Auditorium to build a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

  • Web3 Frontier Theme: This year’s focus is on building decentralized futures through blockchain, smart contracts, and advanced data security.
  • Waiting List Battle Royale: A high-stakes mechanism where teams ranked 31-40 compete in a "first-come, first-served" race to claim any spots vacated by the initial Top 30.
  • 10-Minute Dirty Stopwatch: During final pitching, the clock starts the moment a team is called, forcing them to manage their technical setup and presentation within a single 10-minute block.
  • Professional Judging Standards: Utilizing a Two-Judge Overlap System, every proposal is assessed by exactly two different juri to ensure fair and objective scoring.
  • Lucrative Prize Pool: Participants compete for a total prize fund of Rp 20,000,000.
Event Schedule

The competition follows a rigorous timeline divided into its two core phases:

Phase 1: Online Filtering (Conceptualization)

  • August 22: Judges' Briefing (Online Meeting).
  • August 25 – September 8: Early Registration & Team Building.
  • September 9 – September 18: Submission Window (Proposal Idea upload).
  • September 19 – September 25: Judging Window & Code Freeze.

1. What to Build: The Core Project
  • Theme: "Web3 Frontier." You must build a technological solution that integrates Web3 pillars such as blockchain elements, advanced data security, or decentralization.
  • Scope: You have "absolute freedom" to choose any industrial sector (e.g., finance, logistics, social impact), provided the problem you address is validated by real-world data and facts.
  • Format: Your final project can be a Web-based platform, Mobile application, or other platforms. Integration with other tech stacks like AI, IoT, or Web2 is permitted but optional.
2. Phase 1 Submission: Proposal Idea (Conceptual)

This phase is 100% conceptual; no code is required at this stage. You must download the official template from your dashboard and submit a PDF document (max 10MB) containing:

  • Executive Summary: A sharp "Elevator Pitch" of your idea.
  • Problem Statement: A data-backed explanation of the problem's urgency.
  • Proposed Solution & Value Proposition: Your unique solution and how it differs from existing products.
  • MVP & Key Features: A list of 3 to 5 core features you commit to building during the 24-hour final.
  • Target Market & Impact Viability: Specific target users and scalability potential.
  • Tech Stack & System Architecture: A visual diagram (e.g., flowchart) and the technologies you plan to use.
3. Phase 2 Submission: The Final Battle (Execution)

If you are selected as a Top 30 finalist, you will participate in a 24-hour coding marathon to build a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The final submission requirements (due at the 10:00 WIB "Panic Button Lock") include:

  • Public Repository Link (GitHub/GitLab): This is mandatory. Judges will audit your commit timestamps to verify that the code was written purely during the 24-hour event.
  • Live Deployment Link (Optional but Recommended): A URL to your hosted application (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, or a public testnet). Teams that successfully demonstrate a Live Deployment receive significantly higher bonus points compared to those using localhost.
  • Presentation Slides: A PDF or PPT file (max 10MB) with a maximum of 10 slides. Slides should cover the problem, solution, tech stack, and the technical challenges you overcame during the 24-hour hack.
Critical Technical Constraints
  • Code Freeze: At exactly 10:00 WIB on Sunday, October 11, the website's API will trigger a lock, and no further submissions or link updates will be accepted.
  • Orisinalitas: Projects must be original and built specifically for this event. Using old repositories or projects created before the start time is strictly prohibited and results in disqualification.
  • AI Policy: Generative AI is allowed only for brainstorming and grammar. The core logic and architecture must be original; "copy-pasting" entire systems from AI will result in disqualification.
